Jessica Shields is a multi-talented artist originally from Prince Edward Island.

Specializing in portraits, Jessica prefers to work with acrylic, watercolor and gouache and isn’t afraid to take on any project, big or small.

Starting out by painting murals in local schools, she has branched out over the last decade by taking all types of commissions throughout the HRM and South Shore areas.

Also known as Work Of Shields, she accomplished success through fan art conventions and her digital work by selling throughout the Maritimes and now promotes her traditional work through Shields & Brush Strokes.

A video game animator by day and self promoted artist at night, she is a supporter of women in male dominated workspaces and has been involved with Techsploration and Discovery Camps in the past teaching digital skills and art.
